I didn't think my web site would be complete with out a links page. I use the
internet fairly often, and I wanted to share some of the sites that I have
found particularly helpful. I use some of them fairly often, but a few of them
I only visit when I need information.
I'll start with personal web sites:
The Jones Clan - This is my family's web site. My Mom designed it, and wrote the html code for it. (She doing most of the code for my web site, too. I'm not very good at that kind of stuff. *smile*)
S.I. Productions.com - This is my brother's web site - it's short for "Special Imaging Productions". He is a 3d graphics artist. He also does photo touch-ups, special effects for video and other neat stuff.
Designatech Media Solutions - I hesitate to put this up here....it belongs to a very close friend of our family, who is a graphics designer, and after you see his site, mine will look pretty shabby. *grimaces, then laughs* Do check it out - Rico is really great with web sites (and other design work, too).
Ministry Sites:
Truth for Life
- Alister Begg is a Scottish preacher who is normally very
sound in his doctrine - as well as having an enjoyable preaching style (
and
a lovely accent). This
site offers all sorts of resources, as well as allowing you to listen to the
sermon that is airing on the radio that day.
Grace to You - Perhaps you have heard of John MacArthur - he is farely well known among some circles. Anyway, he's also a good preacher, and his site also offers resources and lets you listen to his sermons.
No Greater Joy - For anyone raising kids, this is an indispensible web site. It has great biblical and practical advice for parents. It also has articles on other biblical issues as well, such as church discipline and authority of the elders, etc. There's some really great stuff here.
Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) - The main purpose of VOM is to encourage and support fellow Christians who are being persecuted, and to keep the world informed as to what is happening in that area.
Miscellaneous Sites:
DV.com - Digital Video, that is, if you didn't know what "DV" stands for. Talk about a lot of info - this site has it! And they are very well informed on upcoming developments in the video industry.
DVinfo.net - Another Digital Video site, I mainly go here to ask questions on the message boards. They are friendly folk, and generally have an answer for my questions, but their language isn't always the best.
Johannesen - If you are interested in seeing some of the writings of George MacDonald, you might like to visit this site. They sell his unedited books, and also offer e-texts of some of them. They are great folk here - they handbind their books, and do a lovely job of it. (I know - I own about twenty of them!)
And lastly, if you are interested in learning more about Prydain, I recommend The Prydain Guide - Wisdom for your poor tender head . .
